The Problem We Set Out to Solve

GridSafe started from a problem every NERC CIP program knows: skilled engineers spending their time on manual evidence collection instead of defending critical infrastructure.

Configuration screenshots captured by hand, access reviews dumped into spreadsheets, and vulnerability scans that couldn't safely touch the PLCs and RTUs that actually matter. Audit cycles consumed entire teams for weeks while real threats went unmonitored.

GridShield is the platform built for that: designed around NERC CIP, installed on premises from a bootable image for isolated OT networks, and collecting hash-chained evidence continuously with read-only access to the devices it watches.

Air-Gapped by Design

Critical infrastructure security should not depend on cloud connectivity. GridShield operates fully air-gapped with offline updates, local processing, and on-premises evidence storage as the default architecture.

NERC CIP First, Mapped Honestly

GridShield is built for NERC CIP. Its evidence carries reference mappings to NIST CSF and IEC 62443, so the same records can support those conversations. We say plainly which frameworks we do not report on.
